Camp North is where the true spirit of exploration begins. This is not just a fishing camp — it’s a base camp for discovery, adventure, and days spent chasing the unknown.
You wake to the soothing sound of the river just outside your tent. As you smoothly unzip the opening, fresh, crisp mountain air rushes in, giving you a burst of energy. Around camp, the atmosphere among fellow fly anglers has already come alive — laughter, fresh coffee, and the anticipation of what lies ahead.
Imagine your only worry being which fly to pick from your box. This place has a way of making you leave everything back home behind.
The possibilities are endless. Swing a streamer in the main river closest to camp, with the risk of being pulled toward the ocean. Head up the tributary for some close-quarters combat with char stacked shoulder-to-shoulder, or join the more adventurous anglers on a boat ride to the mouth of the upper river, wide open for exploration.
Honestly, it’s simply a matter of preference — because whichever route you choose, you’ll have the chance to hook into some of the largest, strongest char in Greenland.
Evenings at camp are close to as unforgettable as the days on the water: sharing stories under the midnight sun, eating great food, and feeling incredibly far away.
